Welcome to STEMworks™!
STEMworks™ is an innovative, impactful, and relevant approach to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education! As our flagship program of Maui Economic Development Board’s (MEDB) Women in Technology project, STEMworks™ is a STEM Service-Learning initiative designed to build critical thinkers and solution creators through project-based, service-oriented student learning.
We help engage, inspire and motivate K-12 students and underrepresented groups toward STEM careers.
We train students, as well as teachers in industry-standard software and engineering design practices using hands-on curriculum, regional conferences and workshops.
We work with educators, industry partners and the community to build a thriving STEM education-to-workforce pipeline throughout Hawai‘i.
